Basil Butter Bowtie Pasta with Shrimp

Ingredients

12 oz bow tie Barilla protein plus

1 can (14 oz) reduced sodium chicken broth

1/2 cup chopped fresh basil

2 Tbs unsalted butter

2 tsp Italian seasoning (preferably salt free)

1 lb shrimp (raw, peeled and deveined)

4 cups fresh baby spinach

Optional:

Parmesan cheese (garnish)

Directions

1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

2. While pasta is cooking, combine butter, broth, basil, and seasoning in a large skillet over medium heat and bring to a simmer.

3. Add shrimp to sauce and cook approximately 2 minutes on each side.

4. Once shrimp has cooked through, add drained pasta and spinach and gently toss to allow spinach to wilt. Garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired.
