Bow Ties In Sausage And Pepper Sauce

Green, red and yellow peppers highlight this zesty dish of bow tie pasta and Italian sausage.
8 oz dry bow-tie pasta
12 oz sweet Italian sausage, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
1 1/2 cups thinly sliced onion
1 1/2 cups EACH thinly sliced red, green and yellow bell peppers (4 1/2 cups total)
2 cans (15 oz. each) Contadina® Tomato Sauce
1/2 tsp dried oregano or 1 1/2 tsp. fresh oregano
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
2. Meanwhile, cook sausage and onion in large non-stick skillet until sausage is lightly browned. Drain if needed. Add peppers; cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
3. Add tomato sauce and oregano. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes.
4. Stir in pasta and toss with Parmesan cheese.
