Bran Crunch Topping
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
1/2 cup All-Bran® Bran Buds®
or 1/2 cup All-Bran® Original
3 Tbs broken walnuts
2 Tbs firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tbs all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbs margarine or butter, melted
1. Stir together all ingredients except margarine in shallow baking pan. Add margarine, stirring until well combined.
2. Bake at 350° F about 8 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring twice during baking time. Cool in pan and stir gently to crumble mixture. Store in airtight container. Serve over ice cream, yogurt, pudding or sliced fruit. May also be used to make Bran-Crunch Cottage Cheese Salad.
Yield: 1 1/4 cups
