Death by Chocolate Gelato
1 qt. Parmalat Gelato Mix
3/4 c Dutch process cocoa powder, sifted
1 c black cherry preserves
Add all ingredients to ice cream maker and process.
*Always start with chilled ingredients. Dry ingredients that are stirred in afterwards can be room temperature, but anything liquid in nature will work better chilled. To puree, simply place fruit into a blender or food processor and pulse several time to liquefy. Understand how your ice-cream maker works and process accordingly. All recipes are based on an ice-cream maker with 1 1/2 quart capacity.
