Chunky Marinara Sauce

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Makes 8 (1/2-cup) servings.

McCormick® Italian-Style Spaghetti Sauce Mix gives you a head start to a zesty marinara sauce.

Red Clam Sauce: Stir in 2 cans (6 1/2 ounces each) chopped clams, drained, after simmer time. Cook 1 minute or until heated

Ingredients

  1 package McCormick® Italian-Style Spaghetti Sauce Mix

  2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained

  1/4 cup red wine (optional)

  1 Tbs olive oil

Directions

Mix Sauce Mix, tomatoes, red wine and oil in medium saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve over pasta. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired
