Easy Pop-Tarts® Crumble

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  4 Pop-Tarts® Brown Sugar Cinnamon

  3 Tbs margarine or butter melted

  1 can (1 lb. 5 oz.) apple or blueberry pie filling

  1 Tbs lemon juice

  1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

1. Crumble POP-TARTS pastries into small pieces. Place in medium-size mixing bowl. Toss with melted margarine. Set aside.

2. In 8 x 8 x 2-inch (1 1/2-quart) glass baking dish, stir together pie filling, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Sprinkle crumbled pastries mixture evenly over top.

3. Bake in oven at 350° F about 25 minutes or until bubbly. Serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream, if desired.Note Cherry or peach pie filling may be substituted for the apple or blueberry pie filling. The following flavors of POP-TARTS pastires may be used in place of the brown sugar-cinnamon pastries: Blueberry Cherry Grape Strawberry

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 cups sliced apples 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Above ingredients may be substituted for apple pie filling.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:

1. Crumble KELLOGG'S POP-TARTS pastries into small pieces. Place in medium mixing bowl. Set. aside.

2. Microwave margarine on HIGH until melted. Pour over crumbled pastries, tossing with fork until well-combined. Set aside.

3. In 8 x 8 x 2-inch glass baking dish, stir together pie filling, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Sprinkle crumbled pastries mixture evenly over top.

4. Microwave on HIGH about 6 minutes or until bubbly. Serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream, if desired.
