Hot Caramel Apple Tea

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 1

Syrup used: Tate+Lyle® Caramel Pure Cane Syrup


  4 ounce apple cider or unsweetened apple juice

  4 ounce water

  1 tea bag

  1 tsp Tate+Lyle® Pure Cane Caramel Syrup

  1 cinnamon stick

  1 apple wedge

Mix water and apple juice in a saucepan. Heat on a medium to high flame until it just reaches a boil, approximately 4 minutes.

Remove from heat. Carefully pour into a mug or tea cup. Add tea bag and steep for one minute. Remove tea bag. Add caramel syrup.

Garnish with a cinnamon stick or freshly sliced apple wedge sprinkled with lemon juice (to prevent apple from browning). Stir and serve.
