Baked Chocolate Doughnuts with Chocolate Ganache

Cook Time: 10 minutes

12-14 servings (1 donut)


  For Doughnuts:

  Doughnut pan (6 doughnuts each)

  2 1/2 cups Kodiak Cakes Dark Chocolate Flapjack and Waffle Mix

  2 large eggs

  1 cup milk

  1/2 cup sugar

  1 tsp pure mint extract (optional)

  4 Tbs coconut oil, melted + some (not-melted) for greasing pan

  For Chocolate Ganache:

  2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1/4 cup coconut oil

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine all ingredients and mix until just incorporated.

3. Grease a doughnut pan with coconut oil and pipe the batter into a doughnut pan (2/3 full) using a pastry bag or plastic bag with one corner clipped off.

4. Bake for 10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

5. Place on a cooling rack and allow to cool completely.

Chocolate Ganache:

1. Combine coconut oil and chocolate chips in a microwaveable bowl.

2. Microwave on high until chocolate begins to melt, about 45 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir. microwave for 10 more seconds, if needed.


1. After doughnuts are cooled, drizzle ganache over them.

2. Allow chocolate to harden slightly (5-10 min) and add desired toppings.
