Yam Biscuits

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Servings: 8


  1 cup Yams

  1/2 cup melted butter

  1 egg

  1 cup sifted flour

  2 teaspoons baking powder

  1/2 teaspoon salt

Add Items to List


Combine cooked mashed yams, melted butter, beaten egg.

Set aside.

Sift flour baking powder, salt.

Blend into yams.

Drop by tablespoons in greased casserole.

Bake in oven at 350F for 45 minutes.

Makes 8 biscuits
