Applesauce Rice

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 4


  1 cup applesauce

  1 cup water

  1 tsp butter or margarine

  1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  1/4 tsp salt

  1-1/2 cup MINUTE Brown Rice, uncooked

  1 apple, chopped (small)

Select All

Add Items to List


Bring applesauce, water, butter, cinnamon and salt to boil in medium saucepan.

Stir in rice. Return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes.

Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in apple. Serve at once.
