Charred Tomato Salsa

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 3 cups

Ingredients

  1 1/2 tsp Lawry's® Garlic Salt

  1 medium onion, cut into 1/2-inch rings

  1 1/2 lbs whole vine ripened tomatoes

  2 Tbs chopped fresh cilantro

  2 Tbs lime juice

  1 chipotle chili in adobo sauce, finely chopped

Evenly sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon Lawry's® Garlic Salt on onion. Grill or broil onion and tomatoes, turning once, 10 minutes or until browned.

Chop tomatoes and onion; stir in remaining ingredients. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled meat, chicken or fish.
