Auntie's Chocolate Chip Cookies with Truvía® Baking Blend

The classic temptation. This cookie has been a family favorite for generations. An easy-to-make version with 15% fewer calories* and 60% less sugar* than the full-sugar version. Makes 30 cookies.


  1 1/8 cups flour

  1/2 tsp salt

  1/2 tsp baking soda

  1 stick butter, softened

  1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp Truvía® Baking Blend

  1/2 tsp vanilla

  1 large egg

  1 cup (6 oz.) chocolate chips

  1/2 Tbs molasses (optional)

Preheat oven to 375° F.

Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a small bowl.

Beat butter, Truvía® Baking Blend and vanilla (and optional molasses)* in a separate large mixing bowl. Mix in egg.
*adding molasses will give cookies a darker color and richer flavor. This will affect nutritionals.

Gradually stir in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop rounded tablespoon on cookie sheets and press down to slightly flatten.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned.
