Herbes de Provence Lamb Chops

Makes 4 servings.

Herbes de Provence infuses lambs chops with the flavors of the south of France.

Ingredients

  1 Tbs McCormick® Gourmet Collection Herbes de Provence

  1 tsp finely grated lemon peel

  1 tsp salt

  1/2 tsp McCormick® Gourmet Collection Garlic Powder

  1/2 tsp McCormick® Gourmet Collection Black Pepper, Coarse Grind

  8 loin lamb chops, 1 to 1 1/2-inch thick (2 pounds)

  1 - 2 Tbs olive oil

  Lemon wedges (optional)

Directions

Mix Herbes de Provence, lemon peel, salt, garlic powder and pepper in small bowl. Brush lamb chops lightly with oil. Rub herb mixture evenly on both sides of lamb chops.

Broil or grill over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
