Old World Pilaf

Prep Time: 15 minutes

  1 box Near East Original Rice Pilaf

  2 carrots, finely chopped

  1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

  1/2 cup raisins

  2 Tbs pine nuts

  1 cup diced cooked rotisserie chicken (optional)

  1 Tbs olive oil

Add Items to List


1. Heat Olive Oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat

2. Add carrots and onion; sauté until vegetables begin to soften

3. Add rice and contents of seasoning pouch, stir well. Cook according to directions on Near East box

4. Once pilaf is done, stir in chicken (if using), raisins, and pine nuts
