Easy Pasta Fagioli

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Servings: 4

Cannellini beans, onions, carrots and celery combine for a delicious soup.


  1/2 cup Barilla Ditalini

  1 jar Barilla Marinara-Traditional Sauce

  1 Tbs extra virgin olive oil

  1 cup diced yellow onion

  1 cup diced carrot

  1 cup diced celery

  3 cups water

  38 oz cannellini beans drained

  32 oz chicken broth

  1 bay leaf

1. Heat olive oil in a stock pot.

2. Add onion, celery and carrots, cook for 1 minute.

3. Add beans, Marinara Sauce, chicken broth, water, and bay leaf.

4. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Simmer for 20 minutes.

6. Stir ditalini into the soup.

7. Simmer 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

8. Remove from heat and allow soup to rest 10 minutes.

9. Garnish with grated Parmigiano cheese.
