Almond Cherry Granola

You will love the sweet toasted flavor of homemade granola. Vary the spices, nuts and dried fruit to customize it according to your tastes. This version has cinnamon, almonds and dried cherries. Package in a resealable plastic bag for an on-the-go snack.

Ingredients

  1/2 cup brown sugar

  2 egg whites

  2 Tbs canola oil

  1 Tbs McCormick® Cinnamon Ground

  1 Tbs McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract

  2 cups rolled oats

  1 cup almonds

  1/2 cup dried cherries

Directions

Mix brown sugar, egg whites, oil, cinnamon and vanilla in small bowl until well blended. Set aside.

Add egg white mixture; toss until evenly coated. Spread evenly on foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan.

Cool completely on wire rack. Stir in dried cherries. Store in airtight container up to 1 week.
