Mexicorn Tacos

These tacos are very similar to the Ortega Original Recipe, but with an exciting and delicious twist. The simple addition of corn and salsa make them colorful and full of texture and flavor.

Ingredients

  1 lb ground beef

  3/4 cup water

  1.25 oz ORTEGA® Taco Seasoning Mix (1 package)

  11 oz Mexican-style corn (1 can)

  1 cup ORTEGA® Thick & Chunky Salsa

  12 ORTEGA® Taco Shells 1 package

  Toppings: shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, SARGENTO® ChefStyle Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese, ORTEGA® Thick & Smooth Taco Sauce

Directions

BROWN beef; drain. Stir in water and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 6 minutes or until mixture is thickened. Stir in corn and salsa.

FILL taco shells with beef mixture. Top with lettuce, tomato, cheese and taco sauce.
